Predicting accidental falls in people with multiple sclerosis - a longitudinal study

summary: In this longitudinal study the authors investigated the factors associated with a higher risk of episodes of falls and near falls in a population with MS, as these episodes provoke a severe decrease in the quality of life of these people. Lower level of mobility, higher degree of spasticity and loss of proprioception were all factors strongly associated with a high risk of falls.
