Prevalence and impact of pain in multiple sclerosis: physical and psychologic contributors

summary: The authors of this work aimed to look at the functional impact of pain in people with MS. They not only found that the pain was highly prevalent but also that its functional impact was influenced by pain intensity, physical health, and emotional functioning. For this reason the authors propose to also investigate these factors in order to achieve a better understanding and control of pain in MS.
