  Progressive resistance exercise for people with multiple sclerosis

summary: This study investigated the impact of a progressive resistance exercise programme performed twice weekly over ten weeks on nine MS patients. There was a significant improvement in arm strength, leg endurance, and fast walking speed in the subjects, who also felt that the influence of MS in determining their physical function was decreased.
