Contribution of relapses to disability in multiple sclerosis

summary: This study on relapses in MS found that half of the 182 patients did not recover completely from their relapses, and developed a half point increase on a disability scale (EDSS). The authors conclude that treatments which target relapses could reduce the accumulation of disability.
