Relating functional changes during hand movement to clinical parameters in patients with multiple sclerosis in a multi-centre fMRI study

summary: This multi-centre study combined data from MS patients across Europe, and found that in MS patients far more areas of the brain were activated during a simple task. This suggests that recovery in MS may be associated with the use of alternative but less efficient areas of the brain for the same task.
