Soluble Nogo-A, an inhibitor of axonal regeneration, as a biomarker for multiple sclerosis

summary: In this study of CSF of patients with MS, the authors studied the role of Nogo-A, a component of CNS myelin involved in the poor regenerative response of neurons. They found it to be a useful marker of failure of neuronal regrowth in this disease.
