  Comparison of the effect of two types of acupuncture on quality of life in secondary progressive multiple sclerosis: a preliminary single-blind randomized controlled trial.

summary: This small study looked at whether there was any evidence that acupuncture was beneficial for people with secondary progressive MS. They compared Chinese acupuncture and used minimal acupuncture as a control condition. There were no differences except that the minimal acupuncture group reported improved psychological scores.
