The incidence and significance of anti-natalizumab antibodies: results from AFFIRM and SENTINEL.

summary: This study investigates the incidence of similar antibodies to those described above, this time in association with the new generation drug Natalizumab. In a large cohort taken from 2 randomized control studies, 6% of patients developed antibodies. Therefore the presence of antibodies should be investigated in patients who respond poorly to the drug.
