  The results of two multicenter, open-label studies assessing efficacy, tolerability and safety of protiramer, a high molecular weight synthetic copolymeric mixture, in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis

summary: This preliminary study looked at the effects of Protiramer, a new medicine similar to Copaxone, in treating people with MS. They found that brain inflammation measured with MRI was reduced and it was safe. Further, larger studies are now needed.
