Unexpected multiple sclerosis: follow-up of 30 patients with magnetic resonance imaging and clinical conversion profile

summary: This study follows 30 patients who had an MRI scan for some other reason, and the scan was consistent with MS even though they had had no previous symptoms. It suggests that it may be possible to detect patients early who are likely to develop clinical MS at a later date.
