  Variation of serum uric acid levels in multiple sclerosis during relapses and immunomodulatory treatment.

summary: This small retrospective study found that uric acid levels in blood were lower during MS relapses and higher in people on treatment. They hypothesize that it might reflect disease activity in some way.
