summary: : Many in vitro studies have shown that vitamin D is involved in the pathogenesis of MS. The aim of this work was to investigate a potential in vivo correlation between vitamin D status and the function of regulatory T-cells in people with relapsing-remitting MS. A positive correlation was found between serum levels of vitamin D and the regulatory T-cells function, suggesting that vitamin D is an important promoter of T cell regulation in vivo in people with MS.
