Los principales objetivos de la organización:

- To support and sponsor MS research through permanent contact with the pharmaceutical industry and the respective institutes. To intensify research and report on the latest results.
- To improve and provide support in out-patient aftercare.
- To represent the interests of those affected by MS, with regard to legislative measures, health insurers and institutions supporting rehabilitation measures.
- To propagate knowledge of MS.
- To train staff in ambulant and in-patient MS care services.
- Self-help groups, seminars, public education programmes, an advice-centre, driving service and out-patient care services.
- Living care projects, rehabilitation and acute clinics.
