The MS World Conference took place from 4-6 October in Berlin to mark the German MS Society's (DMSG) 60th anniversary. More than 550 people including internationally renowned speakers, people with MS and representatives of MS organisations from around the world met to find solutions and strategies to improve the quality of life of people with MS.
Highlights included sessions on fundraising, advocacy and managing the disabling symptoms of MS as well as a reception at Berlin's Red City Hall and a gala dinner. Other highlights were the keynote speech on MS therapeutics delivered by Professor Alastair Compston and updates on immunomodulatory therapies and therapies for progressive MS.
