Global response to progressive MS challenge

Global experts from the Progressive MS Alliance are meeting in London in April and May to review the applications they have received for funding.

In total the Alliance received 195 applications from researchers in 22 countries, reflecting a global commitment to find solutions to progressive MS.

Of the 195, 175 were for Challenge Awards, designed to encourage scientific innovation. The other 20 were for Infrastructure Awards, designed to promote data sharing and knowledge management.

The recommendations of the scientific review group will go to the scientific steering committee for decision no later than August.
