The purpose of MSIF’s websites is to communicate information about MSIF and multiple sclerosis (MS) that is helpful and easy to find and use. Accurate health information on the Internet is vital, but sometimes difficult to identify. MSIF makes every effort to ensure that its website reflects up-to-date, objective and accurate facts about MS. It is hoped that any information will complement professional medical advice and help people to make any decisions that they face. The information provided on the website is designed to support, not replace, the relationship that may exist between a person with MS and their doctor or neurologist. To achieve this purpose, links to and from our website are generally encouraged. However, some restrictions and disclaimers are appropriate.

All links from our website must contain information that is relevant and related to our mission. MSIF’s mission is to collaborate with people affected by MS, health professionals, the international scientific community and national MS societies to lead the global MS movement by stimulating research into the understanding and treatment of MS and by improving the quality of life of people affected by MS.
Except as outlined below, links to a website are not permitted if the organisation or entity sponsoring the website has a political agenda or supports a particular political party or candidate. MSIF will not promote legislation, candidates or political parties on its website. No links will be allowed to private voter advocacy groups.
MSIF will link to national MS societies, relevant international organisations, donors, sponsors and funders.
MSIF does not accept fees or commissions of any kind for links, page views, user sessions or "hits" from or to our website.
MSIF will only link to providers of commercial products or services when acknowledging their support as donors, sponsors or funders.
