There is an urgent, worldwide need for life-changing solutions for people affected by progressive MS.  The International Progressive MS Alliance is working to answer that need, rallying the global community in an unprecedented collaboration of MS organisations, researchers, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, trusts, foundations, donors and people affected by MS. Join us as we gather some of the leading experts in MS to discuss the state of progressive MS research and treatment today, the vital work of the Progressive MS Alliance and what must be done next to develop breakthrough treatments in progressive MS.

Stuart Nixon will facilitate the panel discussion. Diagnosed with MS at age 18, Stuart serves as co-chair of the Scientific Research Strategy Committee of the UK MS Society and is a recognised global advocate for ensuring people affected by MS can get the support they need to have a good quality of life.

He will be joined by Professor Alan Thompson, Chair of the Progressive MS Alliance Scientific Steering Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Brain Sciences at University College London;  Professor Giancarlo Comi, Co-Chair of the Progressive MS Alliance Scientific Steering Committee and Chair of the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology and the Director of the Institute of Experimental Neurology at the Scientific Institute San Raffaele, Milan, Italy; and Professor Jennifer Freeman, professor of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, University of Plymouth, England.
