Digital tools—such as electronic health records, telemedicine, digital biomarkers, wearable devices, and big data analytics—are rapidly evolving, with the potential to improve care and speed life-changing solutions for those living with progressive MS.
These topics were recently discussed at the Alliance’s Digital Tools Workshop, which brought together researchers and experts from around the globe to discuss:
- The use of digital tools in research and practice in MS: Existing state, challenges and opportunities
- Validation of digital tools as outcome measures
- Perspectives of people affected by MS regarding the use of digital tools
- Digital data privacy and security
- …and more.
In this webcast, workshop participants and presenters will discuss insights from the meeting and how they view digital tools in the future of MS research. The webcast will be streamed on 23 July from:
- the MS International Federation Facebook page and YouTube channel
- the National MS Society Facebook page and YouTube channel
- the MS Society UK Facebook page
The International Progressive MS Alliance Webcasts are sponsored by Sanofi and Genentech.
