The return of The May 50K

We are so excited to announce that the global fitness and fundraising challenge The May 50K is back! Roll, walk, or run 50km during the month of May to raise vital funds to support those affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).

Wherever you live, whatever your fitness level, you can decide when and where to complete The May 50K. Every kilometre counts towards reaching our vision of a world without MS.

Returning member organisations this year include: MS Society (UK), MS Ireland, Deutsche Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft (Germany), and Stichting MS Research (Netherlands).

Registration is now open, join today!

The May 50K ambassador Kerry

Ambassador Spotlight: Kerry

Meet Kerry, who lives in Dundee. Kerry was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2022. This year marks Kerry’s third time completing the challenge, and she’s already raised over £1,300. Most of her kilometres come from walking—though she admits she sometimes runs “a little!” and is even considering adding swimming into the mix this year.

‘The more people we have out there campaigning, the more money and awareness we can raise’, Kerry says.

Her advice for first-timers? Do your best, don’t push your body too hard, and get family and friends involved. When it comes to fundraising, Kerry recommends sharing regular updates and photos on social media. Even if people can’t donate, liking and sharing posts helps reach more people and build awareness.

Her final message is simple: have fun!
