The MS International Federation is strengthening its collaboration with ECTRIMS (the European Committee for Treatment and Research in MS), who will be supporting a joint ECTRIMS-MSIF McDonald fellowship from 2016.

The 2 year McDonald fellowships enables young researchers from developing countries to work with leading MS researchers at established research institutions anywhere in the world.

Ceri Angood Napier our Director of Programmes said:

“This is a really exciting partnership because both our organisations are committed to finding the solutions to MS and those solutions might come from anywhere in the world. This fellowship will support a dedicated young researcher to develop their research who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to do so.”

It is intended that, once finished, fellows will return to their home countries to establish their own research using the newly learned techniques.
