MSMilan Patient Community Day is an exciting opportunity for people affected by MS, and related neurological conditions to learn about the latest advancements in their ongoing care and treatment. Connect with top neurological experts in the field, ask questions and engage with others living with MS across the globe.

Participants will meet with the scientific community, and hear about the latest research unveiled at the 2023 European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS). There will be opportunities for attendees to take part in discussions and initiate meaningful conversations with researchers.

MSMilan Patient Community Day will be hosted by ECTRIMS on Saturday 14 October 2023, 15:00–17:00 CEST, at the MiCo Congress Centre in Milan, Italy. The event will be held onsite as well as live-streamed on the ECTRIMS website here. The discussion will be in English, with live translation in Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Everyone affected by MS is welcome to join virtually.

The event is free to attend. Click here to explore the full program, and register on the ECTRIMS website.

This is an interactive event with an opportunity for attendees to submit questions, which will be answered by MS experts during the event.  You can join the conversation on social media with the hashtag #ECTRIMS4Me.

Why was this event organised?

ECTRIMS is an independent non-profit organisation that hosts the world’s largest research meeting dedicated to advancements in research, treatment and care in MS and related neurological conditions. This year’s annual congress – a joint meeting with ECTRIMS and ACTRIMS involving over 9,000 MS researchers, clinicians & specialists – will be held 11–13 Oct at MiCo Congress Centre.

In line with ECTRIMS’ mission, MSMilan Patient Community Day aims to simplify, share and explain the vast research knowledge unveiled during this annual meeting with the rest of the MS community. This is the second edition of this event, following a pilot one held last year in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

MSMilan Patient Community Day is being held in collaboration with the American Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) and supported by the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (AISM).

ECTRIMS is the leading global organisation dedicated to the understanding and treatment of MS. It promotes multidisciplinary research and education in MS and provides a platform for communication and dissemination of knowledge among healthcare professionals.
