The European MS Platform announced preliminary results for their upcoming MS barometer on World MS Day. The results show that the number of people living with MS in Europe has increased significantly since 2017, totalling more than 1,000,000.  This is an increase of more than 35% in the last 3 years. The results highlight the need for further investigation into MS risk. The new figures may also reflect improvements in early diagnosis, tracking systems and data collection.  The EMSP will release more data from the MS Barometer in the coming months.
