Salary: £40,790 per year (pro-rata)

Location: All staff are currently working remotely, but we are starting to explore a limited return to the office on a voluntary and needs basis. The office is based at: Skyline House, 200 Union Street, London SE1 0LX.

About the role

Join the movement to bring the world together to improve quality of life of everybody affected by MS and end MS forever! In this role you will provide generalist HR support to managers and colleagues across the full span of employee relations and you will help create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness.
MSIF, the organisation you would be joining, is a unique global network of MS organisations, people affected by MS, volunteers, staff, clinicians and researchers from around the world. Our movement is made up of 47 national MS member organisations with links to over 50 organisations in other countries with whom we work in various ways.

Together, we aim to tackle the big challenges for people affected by MS in countries rich and poor: greater scientific understanding and new treatments; Improved access to treatment; a stronger MSIF movement; confident and informed decision making by people affected by MS; and positive changes in attitudes, policies and practices.

With 20 staff, we operate with an international outlook and great flexibility, for example in hours of work or opportunities for working from home, even abroad. We undertake regular reviews of our HR policies, with some new policies to be developed over the next year. Having gradually expanded over the last years, we now need special attention to the HR function and are looking for somebody with the experience to take on this role and enthusiasm to join and support our brilliant team.

Whilst all staff are currently working remotely, we are starting to explore a limited return to the office on a voluntary and needs basis. You would join at an exciting time where you could help us shape our future policy on remote/hybrid/office working and ensure quality and smooth running of the building in respect of office resources, maintaining office contracts and health and safety policies.

We are looking for an experienced individual with skills in all aspects of HR, facilities management, a ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility in team work.
