The Polish MS Society realised that the issues raised in the paper ‘Brain Health: Time matters in MS’ are particularly important to people with MS in Poland because access to treatment and innovative therapies are a big concern there and often there is a long delay between diagnosis and starting treatment.

The Polish MS Society held a press conference in order to draw attention to the problems facing Polish people. They invited Polish MS specialists, who spoke about treatment accessibility and the situation faced by people with MS in Poland in general.

The society presented not only the report but their suggestions on what should be done to improve diagnosis and treatment accessibility in Poland.

Hopefully the press conference will initiate much needed changes for people with MS in Poland, whose treatment standards are still not comparable to those in many other European countries.
