What’s on this page?
MSIF and its global members are pleased to announce that £905,500 has been raised through The May 50K 2025. Over 10,000 participants joined together from over 50 different countries to take part in the fitness and fundraising challenge to walk, roll, or run 50 kilometres during May. This incredible result was made possible by the passion, dedication, and commitment of the MS community
A community that came together from around the world
Now in its fifth global year, MSIF delivered The May 50K in collaboration with national MS organisations in Germany (DMSG), the MS Society UK, MS Ireland, Multiple Sclerosis South Africa (MSSA), and Stichting MS Research in the Netherlands. Together we raised funds and awareness for MS, showing what’s possible when we move around the world together for a cause. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered and partnered with MSIF turning fitness and courage into hope.
What the funds will do
MSIF, together with our member organisations, has committed to working across the globe to boost scientific progress to prevent, treat, and stop MS. We strive for a world where everyone living with MS can access treatments.
The money raised in The May 50K will support both national initiatives and global efforts to accelerate research and improve access to life-changing treatments for those affected by MS, no matter where they live. It will enable the MSIF to collaborate with its members across the world to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of everybody affected by MS.
Looking ahead to 2026
From the entire MSIF community and our member organisations – thank you for working together to leave MS behind, where it belongs. We look forward to welcoming you back for The May 50K 2026
