About the resource

Producing an evidence-based report that demonstrates the national health economic impact of MS is a powerful advocacy tool. It enables MS organisations to demonstrate to governments and key decision‑makers the importance of improving care, access, and investment in MS research.

MS Australia’s MS Prevalence and Economic Impact report in Australia represents a strong example of how MS organisations can collaborate with academic institutions to produce a rigorous, data-driven analysis that clearly communicates the real-world impact of MS in a way that resonates with policymakers.
